Ilona Boros

Ilona Boros is an Attorney-at-Law at Andersen in Hungary. She deals primarily with employment law related matters including litigation, GDPR compliance, general and executive employment contracts, employment of foreigners in Hungary, and drafting internal company policies. She is also actively involved in providing corporate legal advice in connection with company foundation, corporate transformations, as well as dissolutions and claim collection matters including but not limited to court execution and liquidation proceedings.

In recent years, she gained extensive experience in providing day to day legal assistance to multinational companies. Ilona’s experience also includes data protection law, insurance law as well as providing corporate and commercial law consultancy for the Hungarian subsidiary of an international insurance company.

She started her legal career as a legal trainee at an international law firm where she engaged in due diligence reviews and providing legal advice for multinational companies. Prior to obtaining her law degree, Ilona worked at the International Department of the National Research, Development and Innovation Office in Hungary, and she also represented the Hungarian position in one of the strategic decision-making Program Committees of the European Commission. During her university years, Ilona supported several international nonprofit organizations as a trainee.
